Let’s let the real fun begin!
For years, we have had our initial consultations over the phone. It’s so easy to talk through the process of how everything works and is fun get to know each other a little. However, life is extra life-y sometimes and it’s not always easy for times to align to be able to get on the phone together.
So, with that being said, I thought it would be a great idea to make a page here just for you, as if we’re having a phone chat, but a place to read through the information I’d share on the phone!
If you still have questions after reading through this page, along with our information and FAQ pages, we can DEFINITELY still hop on the phone, or text or email back and forth as well. I want you to feel comfortable in making the decision to come and have a session experience with us, so whatever form of communication you prefer - we will make it happen just for you.
First things first, think about your own personal reason of WHY you want to come and have a boudoir session experience! We see women on all walks of life that want to embrace and celebrate themselves for all kinds of reasons. It might be a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, wedding, divorce, etc), reaching a personal goal (weight loss, fitness, new job, finishing school, etc), or it could just be that you need to find yourself again. Maybe you’re a new mom and need to remember that at the heart of you is still YOU and not just mom all the time. Maybe you’ve been through a break up and are yearning to rediscover yourself without a partner. Maybe you just need a full hot girl moment as we all kinda do sometimes ;)
Whatever your reason might be, keep that in mind as we continue on to talk about all the things our experiences offers!
One of the biggest questions we get is wondering how everything will go, and it’s always the main part of our phone consultation. Some of this you may have read through on our FAQ page, but I’m going to break it down a little bit more!
Our session experiences, unless for unusual circumstance, always start at 9am. We shoot Monday-Friday at our studio in Old Town Helena. When you arrive for your session, the first thing we’ll do is decide what you’re going to wear! Based on which session experience you choose, you will have 1-3 outfits, with the option to add more or add an exclusive item if you’d like. If you’re participating in a model call, one outfit is included, along with the option to add more.
Our client closet room is where we’ll start to pick your outfits. If you want to bring your own, that’s cool! If not, don’t feel like you need to go buy anything, unless you just want to. Our client closet is stocked with over 150+ pieces of lingerie ranging in size from 6x-xs, as well as a plethora of shoes, jewelry, robes, wings, and more. I have a small lingerie addiction, so there’s always new pieces in all kinds of shapes and colors. Everything gets laundered between clients and stays fresh. I’ve never not had someone be able to find something that works perfectly.
Once we have your outfit(s) picked out, we’ll go right into hair and makeup with Erin! She’ll ask if you have some ideas for your makeup and create her magic, and for your hair, we usually do soft and romantic curls. After you’re all glammed up, I’ll give you a quick speech about what we’re going to do while we’re taking photos, and then that happens next!
Depending on which session experience you choose, we’ll shoot anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours, with breaks in between as needed. I’ll guide you through every single pose and even do them for you so you can see before I ask you to do them yourself. We’ll get a workout in together ;)
Once we’re finished shooting, you’ll have a break for about an hour to grab lunch, or a coffee, or a drink (or make a Target run while you’re looking super hot!) while I stay at the studio and edit your images. I’ll do color processing and skin smoothing during this time (additional edits will be done on the images you choose for purchase). When you come back to the studio, we’ll sit together in my office for your same day reveal - where you’ll see all of your hand edited images for the first time! It’s the most fun part of the day.
At the reveal, we also do our purchasing session. We offer four main products, collections including different things, add-on products, as well as ordering incentives. We have samples of everything in the studio for you to see and feel. Everything is completely customizable to be exactly how you want it to be. The details for these is on the link below. We do have a studio order minimum of $750 and payment plans are available. If your session is booked from a sale or model call, this minimum still applies, and your credit included will go towards your purchase.
Once we finish with the reveal, we’ll take care of some paperwork and then the day will be finished! All in all, we’re usually wrapped anywhere between 1-3pm (our appointments usually last roughly 4-6 hours depending on your experience choice). Highly recommend to have some fun evening plans after so you can show off your hair and makeup, and that confidence boost glow!
Feel pretty good about everything you’ve read so far? Great! The next step in this early process is to choose a date to shoot. We are currently booking for the rest of the year. Think about when you’d like to come in! If you’re shooting for a special occasion, we recommend at least 4-6 weeks in advance (more is always fine too) to make sure everything comes back in time. If you’re participating in a model call, we usually prefer to shoot within the next two weeks to two months at most, as we have scheduled model calls throughout the year and try not to blend them together. We can text, chat, or email to get your date determined!
Once we have your date set, the next steps are a handful of emails you’ll receive to confirm your appointment! You will receive a booking email with deposit information, a contract to sign, and a questionnaire to fill out so we can learn more about you to help tailor your experience.
After that, the next official email you will receive will come roughly one week before your session- the prep email. It’s a whole rundown of everything you need to know leading up to your experience.
